WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT AND WHY DO WE COLLECT IT?

We use our contact form to collect personal data such as name, email address and telephone number. Any personal data collected and retained through our contact form is used solely for contacting you back and answering your questions about the classes and services that we offer. We will not use the information submitted for marketing purposes unless you have specifically asked us to contact you in the future with details of classes and services. We may keep your data for a period of time that is required to address your initial request or to deliver our service and convey business arrangements with you.

WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH?

We do not share any of your personal data with anyone outside of The Challis School of Dance LTD. When agreeing to enter your child for an exam you are also agreeing to share some of your personal data with the exam board. This information is very limited and explained fully at the time.

HOW LONG DO WE RETAIN YOUR DATA?

Once we have confirmation that your child would like to join the school, the data collected is stored on our system ‘Class Manager’ which is secure, protected and GDPR compliant. We use your data primarily for contact with you, sending newsletters, details relating to school events and issuing invoices. Your data is held for as long as your child is taking our classes and then deleted at the end of the academic year if they are no longer registered with us. Please be assured that all data is treated confidentially.
